Goldenseal root, also known as yellor root, ground raspberry, turmeric root, Indian Paint, jaundice root, etc. This root is used as a dye and also a medicine. Used as a medicine, this is sold as a dried herb as it is poisonous to ingest in its' fresh state. These roots are a nice 1/2" to 1.5" long and up to 1/2" thick. This root is useful for conditions of the digestive system, chronic inflammation of the colon and rectum, and liver problems.
