This is ONE 8" hat pin which is decorated with a cute frog made with a natural amethyst round, facetted stone bead and 2 additional matching color beads (glass). All my pins are flexible and made of lead-free silver-plated brass, approximately 18 gauge (.04 inches: 1.02mm) with a sharp point for piercing fabric. The clutches I provide with every one of my pins are very snug. You may wish to first coat the area of the pin in which the clutch slides on with a little bit of oil such sewing machine oil, WD 40 and gently work the clutch back and forth on the pin, before using. You will find this will make it much smoother to operate when you actually go to use the pin. Make sure all oil is
wiped off the pin/s before inserting into your fabric/hats. Oiling will also help prolong the life of your pins as the smoother your clutch operates, the less you will bend your new pin/s. :-)
